Something extraordinary occurred in the mid-80s. As technology collied with exceptional R+B musicianship, a new sound filled the worlds' dancefloors. Originating from cities such as Minneapolis and New York from Luminary producers such as Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis this mixture of Funk, Soul and the post-disco Electro aesthetic would go on to change music forever.
