F9 Beat Machine is one of the most fully featured online drum machine in the world - offering per-step control of velocity, pitch, pan, position, ratchets, probability, and even polyrhythmic sequencing on all of its 16 channels.

Each pad is up to 8x round-robin capable, has a dedicated EQ, filter, preamp, vintage voice emulation (8 and 12 bit) as well as a convolution reverb.

Full 16-channel stereo stem rendering comes as standard and plenty more truly useful features on the roadmap.

Kontakt 7 Onwards

Our latest drum kit Kontakt UI brings plugin-like power to the kits in this pack. All of the main controls visible below are available per-pad, recallable in a session, and nearly all can be automated.

Per-pad controls include bitcrushing lo-fi, high and low pass filters (with overdrive), transient processing, a handy 3-band EQ as well as individual sends for the plate and room reverbs, as well as the vintage-styled delay.

Want to change a parameter of the whole kit? Just hold down Option/Alt and that change is made to every pad. 

Please note - The Kontakt portion of the pack requires a full install of Kontakt - it will not work on the free Kontakt editions as licensing into the Kontakt Player is not possible at this price point.

Drag the Sequence from the Kontakt UI into your session. 

This Icon on the Kontakt interface allows you to pick up the sequence data created for each individual kit and drop it onto your DAW instrument channel. It's the most elegant way to pick up the sequences we've created for each of the kits

The kits are built for Ableton Live 12 and organised by genre. Every kit comes as an Ableton drum rack (.adg) with a matching clip file (.alc). Drag the clip onto an empty MIDI track and it loads the kit and a demo sequence together, so you can start creating straight away.

All 16 macros are mapped across the whole kit, covering low- and high-pass filters, buss drive and bite, glue compression, air and presence EQ, and a tuned  low-end control.

Each rack also includes macro variation presets and a randomise button for quick inspiration. Double-click any cell to open its sub-rack and Simpler for deeper editing, sample trimming, routing and choke groups.

The pack also includes Drum Menus, which map one type of drum sound across your keyboard. 

Full MPC V3 Track Support 

MPC V3 has brought amazing power to the system, and the new track format means we can deliver the sequences directly as you load the kit.

Powered by the amazing audio engine that is legendary in MPC, the F9 kits shine. Full 8x round robin is enabled on several kits thanks to MPC's extended layers, and a healthy collection of Q-link controls mapped across the kit get you the instant tweakable connections you need.

Straight into Logic Pro's Library

 

The kits come as ready-made Logic Pro patches built on Drum Machine Designer, organised by kit type and available straight from Logic's Library. Each kit has its own Smart Controls for EQ, maximizing compression, output filters, stereo width, and level, so you can shape the whole kit without opening a single plugin. The plugin chain also leaves room for your own Audio Unit effects, making it easy to add your favourite processing to any kit.

The pack uses Apple Loops in a clever way. Every kit and pattern has an Apple Loop preview, so you can audition the sounds and grooves directly in Logic's Loop Browser.

Drag a preview onto an empty instrument track and it loads the full kit together with its sequence, so you can start creating instantly. MIDI files are also included for every kit, ready to drag and drop from Finder or from Logic's browser.
