Add Punch to MIDI instrument in Ableton and Logic

I've recently found that we may all be missing a brilliant trick inside of our DAWs

We're all looking to add some punch and dynamics in not only our drums, but also our instruments as well. Nestling among our plug-in folders are a collection of midi triggered modulators that we can hijack, to use as completely free transient processers.

In this post, I will look at these elements inside of Ableton and logic, but please bear in mind many other DJWS have identical functionality.
