Use it in your music forever, without subscriptions, clearance fees, or royalties owed to us.
Unlike other stores or services, this license remains in place in perpetuity (a legal term for forever). There are some services where the user might end their subscription and then lose access to the license to use the samples.
We believe this is fundamentally wrong. Although we must obviously protect our work, we are dedicated to helping the production community.
We have never made a claim against the income of any of our valued customer releases for royalties or writing splits, and we will continue to do so and always adhere to the terms of our licensing agreement with you.
We encourage you to use F9 sounds in your tracks, videos, games and client projects.

With only one caveat - the sounds must not appear completely by themselves; they must be part of a composition. This is standard in soundware.
Yes - and we also allow for the creation of split stems (sometimes referred to as track-outs), remix parts, and anything that does not expose our parts by themselves.
As long as you have made an original composition and not simply replicate one of our templates (like our TRAX range) or our stems without new ideas
Yes - although we do ask you create an original composition. You may not use the templates or stems as they are.
Again, this is common sense and part of the terms and conditions you will have agreed to on all of the relevant platforms.
Yes, but with limits - we allow the use of our sampled, fully playable instruments for the creation of sample packs and loops.
We do not allow the creation of individual hits, other instruments, or templates/DAW projects that bundle our instruments inside.

No, and this is important - You own your composition, but F9 retains underlying sample copyright.
This is the same across the software industry and is common sense. If we allowed this, we would only legally be able to sell a single copy of each pack.

Please note that all use of F9 products remains covered by our licence agreement. Like software, soundware is licensed rather than sold outright. You are purchasing broad rights to use F9 content in your own productions, not ownership of the original source material.
The complete licence agreement is always available on our website HERE. Legal language can sometimes be difficult to interpret, so the purpose of this page is to explain the most important points clearly.
As a soundware developer, we have to protect the work that goes into our products while giving producers as much creative freedom as possible.
F9 products are licensed to thousands of producers around the world. This means that the original samples, loops, stems and template material are not exclusive to one customer.
You must therefore use F9 content as part of your own original production. Supplied templates, construction kits, stem arrangements and melodies must not be released substantially unchanged as though they were an original finished track.
This is especially important because automated Content ID and copyright-detection systems can create problems when shared musical material is registered by a third party. One improper registration can affect many legitimate users of the same product.
F9 does not register its soundware with YouTube Content ID or use copyright-detection systems to claim income from legitimate customer releases. We do not whitelist our own YouTube or SoundCloud channels in a way that would damage your uploads.
Occasionally, a third party may improperly register music containing shared soundware and cause an incorrect automated claim. This can even affect F9's own promotional material. If this happens to a legitimate customer release, please contact us and we will help wherever possible.
These restrictions are not designed to limit normal production use. They exist to protect every F9 customer and to ensure that shared source material is used as part of genuinely original musical work.
